Well hello chilly willy!!

GOOD AFTERNOON!

Oh I have the Holiday Spirit… and then some!!
First of all Happy Chanukah! Secondly there are sooo many fun "holiday parties" to attend and so many good sales and shopping events and wow so much to do, maybe I can unchain myself from the shop for a bit? Nope, no WAY! We are going full force here at the Motley Home (652 Tremont in the South End) and my standard line is "Christmas threw up all over our lovely store" it kinda did but it really does look purdy! And I am listening to The Hall and Oates Christmas CD, lawd the mustache!!

Just wanted to write and tell you my shopping guide is on the way later this week and that here's the social calendar for this and a wee bit of next week!!

On the other hand maybe I’ll get lazy and just rent movies from Eveonne at The Video Underground.. she’s got a bunch of “sales” check out www.thevideounderground.com for the scoop!

Enjoy!! And just as an added bonus here's me as an elf…. Hahahahha!!!

Taiphoon Fantastic

You know who’s my favorite new ‘dance around the store and sing along’ artist?

No, not Britney! Geesh, its Boston’s own Taiphoon Fantastic… she’s one of my favorite karaoke performers, cute as an evil hobbit can be and sweet as sugar free bubble gum! AND you have to check her out. Her Myspace site is great and all but live. Ohh… Taiphoon live and onstage is something else.

Taiphoon Fantastic brings the candy coated beats that make your booty go bang bang. Dirty disco, horny hip hop, and sexy soul made to violate your ear drums.

And she’s Playing Great Scott Monday, October 1st.
Opening for The Campaign for Real Time
18+
7$
9pm

Tickets available at www.ticketweb.com and at Great Scott Great Scott

Good Afternoon

I’m back... just like the invasion of students, I have driven back from Cape Cod (alas no more weekend trips- I think!) And I am ready to get back on the … errr… ummm.. horse? Rock train? Uhhhuuu.. well I’m back and I’m telling you about shows I like and about what I wanna do and where I’m going etc… criminy!

Ok so here we go, this is the new line up.

1. apologize for having a lame blog (again… and promise to be more diligent)
2. talk about amazing people I am lucky to know and what they have going on
3. shout out some events and shows and then and then and then
4. wrap it up with my own brand of babble

Got it?

Here we go…

I am freakin sorry that I have a lame blog and sometimes choose sitting on the deck at Baker’s Pond with no intra-net over bloggin. Hahahah! Not even a choice. But. This is a long one to make up & it’s jam PACKED.

People / Places section

The AMAZING and talented Tattooist Andy Lowlife www.andylowlife.com hits to the East Coast this week (accompanied by his lovely and equally as entertaining wife Opie.)
